What you'll want to know before we talk
How long does a project take?
A first system running in 4 to 10 weeks, and since we work in short parts, something is live well before the end. It depends mostly on how many programs have to be connected, and we work that out on the first call.
How much does it cost?
There's no price list because no two projects are alike: we close the scope together before starting. Each part is priced before it starts, and you can stop at the end of any of them with something working. On the first call you get the real range.
Is the software mine?
Yes, from day one. The system is yours, it sits wherever you say, and it comes documented so any other team can pick it up without calling us. If you stay with us, let it be because you want to.
Why custom and not a tool that already exists?
You don't always need one. If a catalog subscription solves what you need, we'll tell you and you save the whole project. Custom is worth it when your edge is exactly how you work, and a standard tool would force you to change it. That's where we come in.
We already use ChatGPT. What do you add?
ChatGPT is off the rack: one size fits all, and fits no one well. It helps each person on their own, but it doesn't know your data, or who can see what, or how a decision gets made inside your company. Saving each person minutes is one thing; taking hours off the whole team is another.
What if I don't know whether I need AI?
Then don't start with AI. We look at the process and tell you where it helps and where it doesn't. Often what saves the most is sorting out how information moves from one program to another, and that costs a good deal less than any AI.
Do you work with our technical team?
Yes. We can run the whole project or work alongside your team, and along the way we teach them how it all works. We decide that when we close the scope, based on the people you already have.
How do I keep track of progress?
Each part ends with something you can use, not with a report. And in the meantime you talk directly to whoever writes the code. No managers in between.
What happens after launch?
We stay through go-live. If it suits you, we carry on with support and new work. And if you'd rather take it and go on your own, that works too: that's what the documentation is for.
